Mowinckels Rederi is looking for a Vice President Business Development. 

The candidate will work alongside the CEO in implementing an evolving Commercial Strategy, identifying and executing investments, managing vessels commercially, as well as maintaining and expanding the Company’s network of Investment Partners, Customers, Brokers and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

University level degree
Experience from, and good understanding of the commercial side of the maritime industry
Business oriented with a commercial mind-set
Responsible, self-driven and comfortable working in a lean setup
 

J. Ludwig Mowinckels Rederi is an established and reputable Ship Owner based in Bergen.

It currently holds a 15-50% stake in six vessels, of which two are newbuildings under construction.

Mowinckels Rederi is the Commercial Manager and Disponent Owners of the vessels.

The Company is involved in various deep sea shipping segments with a dynamic approach, and currently holds stakes in Dry Bulk Carriers between 55 000 and 65 000 dwt, Stainless Steel Chemical Tankers of about 19 000 dwt, and a 36 000 dwt MR1 Chemical / Product Tanker.
